Update 2010 Versions of MyTAX to the Most Current Version
This page explains how you can update your existing MyTAX 2010
workbooks to the latest version.
Data that you have already entered into the workbooks is left intact.
Check the version of your MyTAX workbook(s) from the top of the
README sheet in the workbook(s).
Download the Updater Excel workbook from the link below.
Start Excel and load in the Updater workbook. Excel's Macro
feature has to be enabled.
Click on the big UPDATE button in the Updater workbook.
The Updater will start running and prompt you for the filename of
your workbook to be updated.
The process runs in a few seconds and leaves the updated workbook
open.
Make a quick check of the updated workbook.
From Excel's file menu do a Save As to a new workbook filename.
Close the updated MyTAX 2010 workbook.
Rerun the Updater workbook for each MyTAX 2010 workbook you wish
to update.

Corrections are made to
formulaes by this update that may impact your return's bottom line.
We recommend that you download the Updater Utility and save it to an
.xls file first, start Excel and then open the saved file.
For the Updater to run, the Excel macro feature must be enabled.
